material notes

Micromax™ 7292 (formerly known as DuPont™ 7292) is a solvent-based screen printable ink formulated with PTC materials which allow the printed circuit to self-regulate at specific temperatures for heating applications such as automotive seat heaters or heated bandages for wound care. This eliminates the need for additional thermal control used in conventional heating applications. This ink can be printed using a 280SS screen yielding 0.0003" for the dry film thickness, and dried at 130-140°C for 2-15 minutes. 5025, 5028 or 5065 can be used as a busbar. Overprinting with dielectric or encapsulants are not recommended. See the Data Sheet for recommended film overlay adhesives. The recommended thinner is Micromax™ 8270. FOR REFERENCE ONLY
