material notes

DuPont™ ME603 is a screen printable, solvent-based silver ink used to print circuitry that can be later formed and over molded to produce an in-mold electronic component. The ink has excellent stretch ability necessary to withstand the forming process and the elevated temperatures used with injection molding processes with minimal change in performance. This formulation possesses excellent adhesion and compatibility when used on graphic inks and polycarbonate substrates. The ink can be printed through 200-325SS mesh screens yielding dry film thicknesses from 0.0003"-0.0005". Effective drying will be dependent on dryer conditions. Thermoforming can be achieved using temperatures of 160°C with elongation >50%. The ink can be diluted using DuPont 3610 solvent. FOR REFERENCE ONLY
