DuPont 7723

Item number: DP772300-100G

DuPont 7723 silver conductor is a screen printable, higher temperature fired-on composition containing lead-free glass frit as its binder.   The glass allows high conductivity and adhesion to ceramic and glass substrates while providing a highly solderable surface. This material is printed using polyester or stainless screens with mesh counts ranging from 200 – 400tpi and processed at ~ 500°-540° C in an air atmosphere.  It is widely used in the production of touchscreens, glass heaters and many other applications on glass and ceramic. It can be thinned with 8250 thinner.

material notes

DuPont 7723 is a screen printable low firing temperature silver that can be processed in air, and does not require any inert atmosphere. This product is lead-free and will accept solder for interconnects to circuitry. Typical applications include touchscreens and other applications using ITO due to the superior adhesion to low surface energy materials. This ink can be printed through a 200-325SS mesh yielding a fired on thickness of 0.0006-0.0007". Once printed, the wet print should be allowed to level, then dry at 100-150°C for 10-15 minutes followed by firing with an initial burnout at 325°C for 10 minutes then at 500-540°C for 2-10 minutes. The thinner for this product is 8250. FOR REFERENCE ONLY
