material notes

Micromax™ PE876 (formerly known as DuPont™ PE876) is a specially formulated silver conductive ink that is part of the DuPont™ Intexar™ system designed for exposed electrodes that come into contact with the human body and can undergo multiple wash cycles with minimal performance changes. This ink is printed over DuPont™ PE874 and adopts the exceptional elongation and recovery during repeated flexing operations. The Intexar inks are designed to be screen-printed onto DuPont TE11C, thermoplastic urethane substrate which can then be transferred to variety of materials including textiles and flexible substrates. They are used for biosensors to monitor blood pressure, heartrate and bodily fluids as they leave the body. Printing can be accomplished with a 200SS mesh screen, and can be dried at 100-160°C for 2-10 minutes. Thinning can be achieved with Micromax™ 8264. FOR REFERENCE ONLY
