material notes

Micromax™ 4817N (formerly known as DuPont™ 4817N) is a low viscosity silver-filled, solvent-based product that is suitable for coating a variety of surfaces by spraying, dipping, brushing or applications. This is an air dry/forced heat thermoplastic composition that provides excellent conductivity and adhesion to a variety of surfaces such as plastic, paper, wood, film, rubber and ceramic substrates. It is widely used as an electroplating seed and in the manufacture of plating applications. The silver content is low which makes it an attractive product for coating parts with a silver ink. The applied product can be processed by curing at room temperature (25°C) for 16-20 hours or cured at 60-100°C up to an hour. It can be diluted with Micromax™ 8459. FOR REFERENCE ONLY
