A UV-curable, highly cross-linked screen printable light blue dielectric. When cured this product provides an excellent solvent and moisture barrier with high dielectric strength for both rigid and flexible circuit manufacture.

Micromax™ 5018 (formerly known as DuPont™ 5018) is a light blue screen printable UV-cured dielectric that has superior physical properties. The resulting film provides an excellent moisture barrier as well as protection from solvents and environmental exposure. This product is well suited to both rigid and flexible applications. It can be rapidly cured with a wide range of UV cure energies using standard UV curing equipment with standard H bulbs and printed with 200-280 SS screens to yield a film with thickness of ~0.001" in thickness. Polyester screens can also be used but stainless steel typically results in the best pinhole-free coverage. It exhibits great adhesion to both print-treated and non-print treated substrates while providing excellent electrical properties and breakdown voltages of 1500- 3,000 VDC @ .001” thickness. It is solvent free, requires no dilution and is ready for as delivered. It is fully compatible with the Micromax™ 50xx series conductive, 7xxx and 8144 carbons inks. FOR REFERENCE ONLYKey Properties
