Micromax® 5028
Item number: DP502800-100G
A rapid drying highly conductive screen printable silver ink. It is well suited to a variety of printing methods with good response to lamination for further improvement to conductivity. Widely used by Smartcard manufacturers.
material notes
Micromax™ 5028 (formerly known as DuPont™ 5028) is a highly-conductive screen printable silver ink that can be applied to a variety of substrates such as polyester, paper or epoxy glass. Several application methods can be used, in addition to screen-printing, such as reel to reel flat and rotary screen applications. It can be dried between 120°-160°C in 1-6 minutes in a conveyor oven or 15-30 minutes in a box oven. Screen printing with a 325SS mesh screen will result in dry film thickness of 0.0004-0.0005". This product is fully compatible with Micromax™ 5018 dielectric, Micromax™ 7102 carbon and Micromax™ 3610 thinner. FOR REFERENCE ONLYKey Properties
