Micromax® 5036
Item number: DP503600-400G
A clear thermally-dried, screen printable dielectric material that can be used as an encapsulant as well as a printed heat seal material
material notes
Micromax™ 5036 (formerly known as DuPont™ 5036) is a unique thermally dried material that can serve several functions in printed electronics. It can be used as an encapsulating material for components used in flexible circuitry. This product can also serve to bond various films together by printing a seal pattern then drying followed by a heating step to bond film layers together, such as polyester, polyimide and epoxy glass. It can be printed using a 325SS mesh screen to yield a dry print thickness of 0.00005". Thicker deposits may be obtained by using a lower mesh count screen. The Micromax™ 5036 can be dried at 120-130°C ≤5 minutes then heat sealed at 120-125°C. It can also be combined with Micromax™ 7082 to make customer resistor blends. This product can be thinned with Micromax™ 3610 solvent. FOR REFERENCE ONLYKey Properties
