Micromax™ 5874
Item number: DP587400-100G
A solvent-based, screen printable ink that has a 65/35 blend of silver and silver chloride particles used for a diverse array of biomedical applications
material notes
Micromax™ 5874 (formerly known as DuPont™ 5874) is a 65/35 blend of silver/silver chloride conductive filler used for electrochemical sensors, electrodes and biomedical applications that need a silver chloride interface. This product lends itself to use as an anode or cathode for iontophoretic applications. This has low electrode polarization in an electrochemical cell and also has high stability when used as reference electrode. This product can be printed onto various types of polyester to make glucose test strips and other blood analysis electrodes. A polyester mesh screen can be used and it is best to avoid contact with metal parts during the printing process. This product can be dried at 120°C for 1-5 minutes. This product can be thinned using Micromax™ 3610. FOR REFERENCE ONLYKey Properties
