MICROMAX
Micromax™ 5880
Item number: DP588000-100G
A solvent-based screen printable ink that has and 80/20 blend of silver and silver chloride particles used for a diverse array of biomedical applications
material notes
Micromax™ 5880 (formerly known as DuPont™ 5880) is an 80/20 blend of silver/silver chloride conductive filler used for electrochemical sensors, electrodes and biomedical applications that need a silver chloride interface. This product has excellent stability in applications that require gels with high salt concentrations such as EKG electrodes. This product can be printed onto various types of polyester to make glucose test strips as well as other blood analysis electrodes. A polyester mesh screen should be used and all contact with metal should be avoided during the printing process. This product can be dried at 120-140°C for 3-10 minutes. This product can be thinned using Micromax™ 8210. FOR REFERENCE ONLYKey Properties
