material notes
Micromax™ 6160 (formerly known as DuPont™ 6160) is a mixed bonded screen printable silver conductive ink. This product is well suited for high volume microcircuits and resistor networks. Due to its filler composition, this ink is a low cost, high performance alternative to palladium-silver and platinum-silver products. This ink can be printed through a 200-325SS mesh yielding a fired on thickness of 0.0006-0.0007". Once printed, the wet print should be allowed to dry at room temperature for 10-15 minutes then dried at 150°C for 10-15 minutes followed by firing with an initial burnout at 325°C for 10 minutes then at a peak of 850°C for 5-10 minutes. The thinner for this ink is Micromax™ 4553. FOR REFERENCE ONLYKey Properties
