Item number: DPBQ2420-100G
A screen printable, solvent-based carbon conductive ink used in amperometric biosensors
material notes
Micromax™ BQ242 (formerly known as DuPont™ BQ242) is a solvent-based screen printable carbon ink used for working electrodes in amperometric electrodes where sensitivity is needed for precise analyte detection. This ink has superior wettability and high electrochemical activity making it compatible for use with a wide variety of electron-transfer mediators. The binder system is halogen free and has excellent handling characteristics and adhesion to polyester film such as Melinex® ST-505. The ink can be printed using a 280SS mesh polyester yielding a 0.0005" dry film thickness and dried at 130°C for 2-5 minutes. The ink can be diluted with Micromax™ 8240 solvent.
